Refund Policy

We want you and your family to love Love Notes. If something isn't working for you, we're happy to look at a refund. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

14-day refund window

You can request a full refund within 14 days of your most recent charge for any reason. After 14 days, charges are generally non-refundable, but we still review unusual situations on a case-by-case basis.

What's eligible

  • Accidental charges: You meant to cancel before renewal but were billed anyway.
  • Duplicate charges: You were billed more than once for the same period.
  • Technical issues: A bug or outage prevented you from meaningfully using the app and we couldn't resolve it in a reasonable time.
  • Unauthorized charges: Someone used your account or payment method without permission.

What isn't eligible

  • Charges older than 14 days, except in exceptional cases.
  • Partial-month refunds when you cancel mid-cycle — your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Free trials that converted to a paid subscription after the trial ended (please cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged).

How to request a refund

  1. Email support@carpentrymedia.com from the email address on your account.
  2. Include the date of the charge, the last 4 digits of the card (if known), and a short note about why you'd like a refund.
  3. We'll reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Cancelling future renewals

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals — it does not automatically trigger a refund for past charges.

This policy works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
